Kelly – Studio Founder E RYT 500
Before yoga, I worked in aviation — a fast-paced world that left me burned out and disconnected from myself. Finding yoga was life-changing; it gave me space to breathe, reset, and truly come home.
Today I live in the Scottish countryside, where I balance my love for yoga with my passion for interior design. Creating beautiful, calming spaces feels just as important to me as guiding others through breath, movement, and stillness.
With over 15 years of practice and more than 1,000 hours of training, I now focus on sharing what helped me heal. I’m especially passionate about supporting women, offering safe and empowering spaces to slow down, recharge, and reconnect. But my classes and retreats are open to everyone — designed to meet you exactly where you are.
Through Orenda Studios and retreats, my hope is to give you the same gift yoga gave me: balance, clarity, and a sense of belonging.
Marinna – Yoga Teacher RYT 200
Hi, my name is Marinna, I am a private chef by trade which luckily gives me time to also teach yoga and practice various holistic therapies including Reiki. I completed my RYT200 in Bali in 2020 with the master Deep Kumar in his therapeutic style of ‘Conscious Hatha and Vinyasa’.
Like many I first came to yoga when healing from a back injury and the subsequent emotional fragility that came with it. I had lost myself but fortunately found an incredible teacher and while regaining my mobility, also felt the clouds around me lifting. I experienced the yogic philosophy that to find union between our mind, body and breath equates to a sense of peace within oneself. Yoga helped me heal my body and mind but it’s a life long lesson, and I am so chuffed to be able to help those in my classes find what they seek from their own practice.
“I hope our experience on the mat is one we can take out into our daily lives, weather it be through improvement of strength, balance and alignment, awareness of our breathing and how it effects body and mind, or simply not to judge ourselves too harshly… or take ourselves too seriously!”
Charlotte – Pilates Instructor
Fiona – Yoga Teacher RYT 200
Yin Yoga has become a deeply meaningful practice for me both personally and as a teacher. In a world that constantly demands more from us, this slow and meditative practice encourages us to connect with the present moment through stillness and provides a safe space where we can pause, breathe and simply be.
We hold our mostly floor based poses for several minutes to allow for delicious stretches of the deeper connective tissues of the body, using a variety of props to make the poses more accessible for everybody. These longer holds encourage the body and mind to soften and let go.
In addition to the physical postures, we integrate some breathwork and meditation practices which further enhances the sense of calm and relaxation.
I look forward to welcoming you onto the mat and guiding you to discover some peace and stillness through this special practice.
Gwilym – Sports Massage Therapist
As a sports massage therapist with a lifelong background in movement and fitness, I bring a unique perspective to recovery and rehabilitation. My journey began as an international gymnast and circus acrobat, where I gained first-hand experience in high-performance training and the importance of proper recovery. Now, I specialise in helping clients by easing tension, improving mobility, and supporting recovery from injury.
I believe in treating the body as a whole, combining my knowledge of training and recovery to provide a truly holistic experience. Understanding that every client’s journey is unique, I tailor my treatments to not only relieve discomfort but also encourage you with tools to continue progressing long after your session. My ethos is based on creating balance between movement, recovery, and overall well-being, helping you move forward with confidence, resilience and strength.
